We had a family birthday celebration (Table of 7). A very good choice and will certainly be back. The roast lamb was great, The Ham hock bites & the pork belly starters were also very tasty. Some of the wines a little overpriced but thats the UK all round really. The most expensive albarino I have ever seen, not even paid that much for a Godello. Apart from that nice attentive staff and a very nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Lovely place, good food, well presented and the waiter was excellent, not in your face. We went twice in January, both occasions with friends, midweek and had a lovely evening. Definitely going again.

Popped in on a lovely sunny Friday afternoon for a quick drink. Wow! Such a great decision! Received a very friendly welcome, from Megan and Nigel. They made us feel more like old friends rather than just customers. The interior was stunning (including the toilets). The garden area was huge with lovely rattan seating. We didn’t stay for food this time, but menu looked very tasty. Would highly recommend a visit to this hidden gem.

Nice food, good service. Needs tweaking slightly, like website address on menu's and google maps are out of date. If someone looking wants to check out the menu before coming down, they can unless they know the new website address. Hopefully, the photo's will help.

Highly recommend. Lovely pub! My wife and I popped in having seen the sign on the A131. We hadn’t booked but managed to get a table - so glad we did. Staff are really friendly, smart and professional, which seems to be a rare thing nowadays, and nothing was too much trouble. Table was laid really nicely (which again seems a rare thing in a pub). Our meal (Roast beef), turned up quickly and had clearly been cooked by someone that really knew what they were doing - freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. Hats off to the people running and working in the pub. They are all doing a great job.

Went as a group for the Tapas evening. Absolutely delightful time, food was delicious, staff were their usual attentive, friendly and professional selves. A comfortable atmosphere for catching up with friends. Toilets lovely and clean too. A gem of a restaurant.
